Learn about the The Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute, and the different services offered by the Broward Cultural Division, including, grants, workshops, school and community artist residencies, professional development opportunities. AEI is an artist-focused course of study designed to assist all artists (visual, performing, literary) by cultivating and advancing business skills. We will also learn about Broward's Artist Micro- Credit Program, a community-based revolving loan program created to respond to a broad range of artists’ needs, i.e. purchasing equipment, completing a project, subsidizing a product line to go to market. Our speakers will be James Shermer, Grants Administrator, Broward Cultural Division, and Rafael Cruz, Instuctor, AEI and FAU Small Business Division. |
